Key Features & Applications

• Firestone RubberGard® is a fully cured, sustainable EPDM rubber membrane designed for use on commercial, industrial and residential flat and low slope roofs
• This BBA approved, warranted system has a life expectancy in excess of 20 years, has excellent resistance to UV radiation, ozone and heat ageing and offers outstanding tensile strength and elongation capacity
• Ballasted, mechanically attached and fully adhered systems are available that can also be combined with extensive green roof and/or solar PV installations
• RubberGard® is a totally inert material, containing no harmful chlorines, toxins or plasticizers and is approved by FM Global as part of an Approved Roof Assembly
• Manufactured in accordance with ISO 9002:1994 and ISO 14001:2004

Membranes & Insulation

• RubberGard® EPDM membranes are available in large, seamless sheets up to 15.25m width and 61m length, in 1.1mm and 1.5mm thicknesses with LSFR (Low Slope Fire Retardant) and FR (Fire Retardant) membranes available for specific fire performance requirements
• Insulation choice includes PIR, mineral wool, cork and cork/PIR composite to suit specification and U-value parameters
• Samples are available on request

Installation & Maintenance

• Installed by a nationwide network of Firestone approved contractors
• The large seamless sheets result in fewer field seams for large surfaces and shorter installation times. Firestone's QuickSeam Tape technology provides a proven field seaming solution
• Firestone RubberGard® can be installed without any surfacing, regardless of method of application
• Only minimal routine maintenance is required
