Alumasc has been named the ‘Most Eco-Friendly Company’ at the National Insulation Association Awards, confirmation of the Company’s genuine ongoing commitment to greener working practices.
Alumasc was presented with the award at the NIA Conference & Award ceremony on 9th December 2009.
Chris Lister, Alumasc’s Development Manager received the award from Neil Marshall, NIA Chief Executive and Tony Hardiman, NIA Chairman. Chris commented “At Alumasc we genuinely believe that our actions to reduce carbon emissions and use resources wisely benefit both the company and the world at large and so consider recognition with this prestigious award to be a great honour”
Alumasc actively pursues sustainability in its full range of products and systems. The Alumasc Facades manufacturing plants in St Helens and Burton Latimer are audited under a BS EN ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System which includes an ongoing programme of improvements and adaptations to reduce the company’s carbon foot print and environmental impacts.
In addition, Alumasc offers an impressive portfolio of environmentally sound products with new innovations being developed to further strengthen its standing as a leader in the supply of sustainable building solutions.
